Quantom is one of the best file shredding and file cleaning tools available in the Windows Store. It is described as being the strongest file shredding application in the Store, and it promises to compile most of the military standards.

Quantom features

With the great UWP called Quantom, you can shred and permanently remove all unwanted files from your computer and pendrive beyond recovery.

The app is recommended for personal and office usage as well in order to protect your personal privacy and to keep company data confidential.

Data wiping standards include the following:

  • German VSITR
  • Russian GOST R 50739-95
  • US Army AR380-19
  • US Dept of Defense DoD 5200.22 M(3)
  • and Peter Gutmann’s Algorithm

Just in case you didn’t know, CCleaner also uses a few of these standards.

The app gets all the available help of the big data analysis and machine learning, and it combines all the standards and design for a better and a quicker algorithm which is considered for both performance and speed.

The app’s features include File Shredding, File Removing, File Deleting, Data Wiping, Data Erasing, File Erasing.

Quantom system requirements:

The app is compatible with Windows 10 or Windows 10 Mobile systems featuring 2 GB of memory, integrated touch and multi-core processors.

You have to get the app while you are signed in to your Microsoft account and install on up to ten Windows devices.

According to users’ experiences, the process performed by the app is fluid and quick, and all you have to do is to select the file and press the fingerprint button to destroy the information. The only minus of this app might be the fact that it doesn’t allow you to select a folder or multiple folders. But this is not such a setback compared to its other features.
