Many users online reported that Sky Glass won’t turn on, and this can be a major problem since you won’t be able to enjoy any TV content, and it will completely ruin your viewing experience.

Although this is a big problem, there are a few troubleshooting steps that you can use to fix it, so without further ado, let’s get started.

Why won’t Sky Glass turn on?

  • Your remote isn’t working or adequately paired, so the TV isn’t responding to commands.

  • Hardware or software malfunction.

How do I force Sky Glass to turn on?

1. Ensure that the remote is paired properly

  1. Disconnect the Sky Glass TV from the power supply and connect it again.
  2. Once the TV boots properly, press and hold 1 and 3 on the remote control.
  3. This will start the pairing process, and once paired the TV should start working.

2. Disconnect the TV from the outlet

  1. Disconnect the power cable from the power source.
  2. Leave it like this for about a minute.
  3. Plug it back in and wait for a few minutes to boot completely.
  4. Optional: Some users suggested that doing this several times worked for them, so feel free to try it.

3. Disconnect the TV from the outlet and hold the Power button

  1. Disconnect the TV from the power outlet.
  2. Hold the Power button on the TV.
  3. Connect the TV to the outlet again.
  4. Keep the button pressed for another 10-20 seconds. If done correctly, the power light LED should flash.
  5. The recovery process will now start, lasting about 15 minutes.
