4. Check the Date and Time

1. Right-click on the Clock in the bottom right corner of the Windows Taskbar and select the Adjust Date and Time option.
2. Activate Set the time automatically, Adjust for daylight saving time automatically, and Set the time zone automatically.

Most online applications fail to work appropriately when the date and time of the device are not properly set.

In addition to the steps above, ensure that you have set the short and long date format of your Windows 11 to dd/MM/YY.

5. Close screen recording apps

1. Right-click on the Start menu and select Task Manager.

6. Clean boot your Windows

1. Press Windows + R keys to open the Run window.

3. Under the Services tab, select Hide All Microsoft Services and Disable All options. Finally, click on OK.

Some third-party applications, such as CiscoVideoGuard, are not compatible with Sky Go.

7. Uninstall CiscoVideoGuard and Sky Go 

1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box then type appwiz.cpl in the box and hit Enter.

2. Select CiscoVideoGuard from the list right-click on it and select Uninstall.
3. Then, select Sky Go and click on Uninstall.
4. Go to the Start menu and click on File Explorer.
5. Go to following patchs and delete the VideoGuardPlayer folders:
   C:/User/<username>/AppData/Local/Cisco
   C:/User/<username>/AppData/LocalLow/Cisco
6. After that, delete the Sky Go and Sky folders from this path:
   C:/User/<username>/AppData/Roaming.
7. Reboot your system.
8. Finally, go to the Sky Go download page and click on Download Now for Windows.
9. Then, Reinstall Sky Go by following the steps from the installer.

Uninstalling CiscoVideoGuard and Sky Go and deleting the remaining files help you reinstall Sky Go from a clean slate.

Sky Go’s unable-to-load configuration error will surely be gone after this process.
