How do I download TurboTax on my Windows 10?

Before you download the TurboTax software for your Windows 10 device, you’ll need to create an Intuit account. This account will allow you to activate your TurboTax software with a license code and help you manage your tax information.

  1. Navigate to your browser and visit the official TurboTax website.
  2. Scroll down and click on the See products.
  3. A page will appear with various tax situations. Click all that apply and TurboTax will recommend a package that meets all your needs. Pricing ranges from $50 to $130 at the time of writing.
  4. Click on Buy Now.
  5. Next, select Windows as your operating system.
  6. You’ll be directed to the billing page. Enter your payment details and once the purchase is completed and successful, the download should start automatically but if not, refresh the page and check for the download link or check your email.
  7. If you purchased the TurboTax software from another retailer like Amazon, you can install it from a CD.
  8. Once the setup file is in your Downloads folder, double-click on it and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
