  1. Press the Windows + E key to open File Explorer.
  2. Navigate to the following directory: C:Program Files\Trend Micro\Trend Micro Client Session Agent\Client Session Agent\uiSeAgnt.exe_uninstall.exe
  3. Launch the uninstaller and click the Uninstall Program option to remove the uiSeAgnt.exe file.

Removing the uiSeAgnt.exe file in File Explorer will disable the software Trend Micro Client Session Agent program and its components.

If the file still appears on your system, proceed to the next solution.

3. Run a System File Checker (SFC) scan

  1. Left-click the Start button, type command prompt, and select Run as administrator.
  2. Click Yes on the User Account Control prompt.
  3. Type this command and press Enter: sfc /scannow
  4. Restart your PC and check if the uiSeAgnt.exe file still exists.

If the uiSeAgnt.exe file is present without the Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security software installed, it is likely malicious. So, running the System File Checker scan will find and remove the corrupt files on your PC.
