As Microsoft Event 2023 is taking place, the Redmond-based tech giant has finally revealed that the hotly anticipated Copilot will hit the operating system on September 26, along with Windows 11 23H2, in a special Patch Tuesday, to all Windows users.
And to make it even more special, Copilot has a brand new logo and a lot of new and very useful features. The new logo has some bright colors, which are different from the blue-ish and Windows 11-themed current logo in the Windows Insider Program.
You’ll be able to easily access it from your Windows 11 desktop, and Copilot is designed to make your experience with the operating system more seamless, according to the Redmond tech giant.

Windows Copilot: new release date and new features

However, it seems that Microsoft still wants to surprise us, so the Redmond-based tech giant unveiled some interesting features, ahead of the Microsoft Surface event.

- Copilot will make its way to every side of Windows, including Edge. The AI tool will also have context from your phone, meaning Copilot will work across devices.
- You’ll even be able to send text messages with it, as Copilot will be able to access your phone, with your permission.
- The tool will integrate a lot of other apps, such as Spotify and Adobe Suite to help you get creative.
- Plus, Copilot will make its way into the newly-announced Microsoft Shopping Copilot. You’ll be able to easily shop while searching, and Copilot will actually help you with it, with its own suggestions.
