Microsoft has significantly expanded the XBOX Cloud Gaming catalog by adding 51 more titles to the Stream Your Own Game library since the beginning of June 2026, according to TrueAchievements.

The latest wave includes a mix of newly released games, recent Game Pass additions, and older titles from the XBOX Store. One of the most notable additions is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which arrives as one of the biggest releases currently available through the service.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth joins cloud gaming lineup

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth appears particularly well suited for cloud gaming thanks to its optional Classic combat mode, which blends traditional turn-based mechanics with modern action gameplay. The feature can make streaming sessions more comfortable on devices where latency may be more noticeable.

Cloud gaming also gives players another way to tackle side quests, level grinding, and achievement hunting without needing access to their primary gaming system.

Another major addition is Gothic 1 Remake, which now supports XBOX Cloud Gaming through the Stream Your Own Game program.

Recent Game Pass titles also gain streaming support

Several recent Game Pass releases have joined the cloud streaming lineup as well. Subscribers can now stream titles including Beastro, Frog Sqwad, Solarpunk, and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions directly from the cloud.

Microsoft continues to steadily grow the number of games supported by Stream Your Own Game as it expands the role of cloud gaming within the broader XBOX ecosystem.

Cloud gaming expansion comes amid broader XBOX challenges

The expansion arrives during a period of major changes for Microsoft’s gaming division. Recently, XBOX acknowledged that it lost millions of subscribers following Game Pass price increases, raising questions about the long-term growth of the subscription service.

At the same time, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has emphasized that XBOX must become a financially sustainable business rather than relying on long-term subsidization.

Industry observers also continue to debate the future of XBOX hardware. Former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida recently speculated that XBOX could eventually become more closely integrated with Windows, suggesting Microsoft’s gaming future may increasingly revolve around PCs, cloud services, and hybrid gaming devices rather than traditional consoles alone.

For now, Microsoft continues to invest heavily in cloud gaming, and the addition of 51 more titles shows that Stream Your Own Game remains a key part of the company’s strategy.
