Microsoft has rolled out a fresh batch of handheld-ready games for Xbox devices on April 26, 2026, expanding support for portable play. As reported via True Achievements, the update includes both fully optimized titles and newly compatible games, with some also available through Xbox Game Pass.

13 Games Now Optimized for Xbox Handheld Devices

This batch focuses on titles specifically enhanced for handheld performance, controls, and display scaling:

  • Hades II

Notably, Hades II joins the list as both an optimized title and part of the Xbox Game Pass library.

Xbox Continues Expanding Handheld Support

This update signals Microsoft’s ongoing push into handheld gaming, steadily increasing the number of supported titles. More Xbox Game Pass games are expected to receive handheld compatibility in future updates, improving the overall portable experience.

In parallel, Microsoft has officially revealed the Xbox Game Pass April Wave 2 lineup, while early details about the May 2026 lineup have also surfaced.
