1. Check your internet connection

Alexa won't connect to Wi-Fi

Try opening a web browser on your smartphone or PC to see if the internet connection is working. You can also use an Internet speed testing tool to test if the connection is stable.

If that’s okay, the problem could be with your hardware.

Recheck the Wi-Fi password

Make sure the password you are using to connect to your Wi-Fi network is correct.

If your hardware is working correctly, find another device, and try connecting it to the same Wi-Fi network using the password.

This should help you diagnose and resolve connectivity issues that might be occurring due to incorrect Wi-Fi passwords.

Check for interference

Wi-Fi signals have a limited range and this affects your ability to connect.

Before you consider investing in a Wi-Fi range extender, make sure to check if the reason why your Alexa device won’t connect to WiFi is due to it being out of range.

A mesh network can usually help you resolve this issue by creating a mesh network that can cover your entire home or workspace.

Try to keep your Alexa enabled device as close to the WiFi router as possible.
