Key notes
- If you're a gamer, you probably use Xbox Game Bar, just because it's really simple to access by pressing Windows + G keys, and it gives you access to some awesome features.
- The first widgets to populate the store were a streaming tool from XSplit, and Razer Cortex features. Of course, as you read this, developers are probably into making new ones.

Xbox Game Bar has new widgets: calculator and browser
Well, have you ever wanted to browse for something really quick while playing a game? Maybe just to make a point or settle a bet? How about a short calculus on how to make the perfect headshot in an FPS game?
Microsoft thought that you need those right away because they were included in the Widget store.
Browsing during games
Of course, the more useful of the two is the simple browser. It’s powered by Bing, of course, and it doesn’t have tabs or fancy features but you’re just looking for a chea…walkthrough or helpful solutions, or just a little bit of webchat, the basic browser is perfect. And it only uses a fraction of the resources of a full-fledged one.
Useful calculus
Aside from any light jokes about computing during games, a calculator may be really useful in MMOs and especially strategy games. Again, this calculator is very handy, and doesn’t really get in the way of your play.
You can get the widgets from the Widget Store (Beta) inside Xbox Game Bar app, or directly from the Microsoft Store. Hit the links below.
