1. Overall best cheapest ASUS monitor: ASUS VC279H Slim Bezel Black 27″ [recommended]

If you are looking for a cheap Led backlit, LCD ASUS monitor that overall has some of the best specs and features on this list, then you will want to try the ASUS VC279H.

It is also one of the largest monitors on this list measuring at 27 inches. But it is still quite light in weight, weighing only 9.7 pounds.

You also have a 5 millisecond response time and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. These features combined with the GamePlus function makes the monitor a decent one for gaming.

As for other entertainment uses, the monitor features a 178/178 IPS and 80,000,000: 1 ASCR. This basically means that users can view the monitor from any angle without any reduction in quality or enjoyment. There is also a feature called EyeCare, which as the name suggests helps prevents your eyes from becoming strained and damaged.

There is an integrated technology called VividPixel, which basically makes viewing and editing photos a whole lot better. Amateur and semi-professional photo editors will especially find this technology to be useful.

All in all, this ASUS display offers quite a lot for such an affordable price. However, if you are still looking for more affordable options, then the models below will suit your taste.

2. Best Cheapest gaming ASUS monitor: ASUS 24-inch Full HD FreeSync Gaming Monitor VG245H

With a refresh rate of 75Hz, a stunning 1ms response time, and 1080p resolution, the ASUS VG256H monitor is undisputedly a great monitor built specifically for gaming.

The 75Hz refresh rate means that your monitor is capable of displaying over 60 FPS. The 1ms response time, on the other hand, means that you will have literally almost no input lag.

Any gamer, especially competitive gamers, know that every split second counts. In fact, superior reaction times can mean the difference between winning or losing a match.

Having dual HDMI also makes this ASUS 24 inch monitor ideal for gaming, as you can connect both a gaming console as well as your personal computer simultaneously. This allows you to conveniently switch between the two gaming devices with ease.

Another important feature on this monitor is the AMD FreeSync technology, which basically has the same affect as G-sync. For those who do not know what this technology does, it basically helps eliminate choppy FPS and screen tearing. This is, of course, essential for an optimal gaming experience. Not to mention that it can also give you an advantage on online games.

The monitor also utilizes GamePlus technology, EyeCare, and flicker-free technology.

Overall, if you are looking for a monster gaming monitor that is under the $200 price range, then this display is the one to go for.

3. Best looking cheapest ASUS monitor: ASUS Designo MX239H 23″

If you are looking for a frameless ASUS monitor that is aesthetically very pleasing, then you will want to check out the MX 238H. The design of this display is minimalist and highly attractive. It is only 0.8mm thick and it has a silver color, which gives it a sophisticated look.

While the monitor is certainly a stunner, it isn’t so bad on the features either. There are HQ built-in speakers as well as numerous ports including 2 HDMI, headphone jack, DVI, and D-SUb.

In addition, the monitor has the standard 60Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a 5ms response time and is capable of displaying p to 7 million colors. That combined with the IPS panel makes this ASUS monitor one of the best there is to buy in 2018.

The MX239H is both functional and good-looking, so it isn’t a surprise that many consider it as a favorite. If you don’t mind a 23-inch monitor, then I highly recommend this monitor.

As for the specifications, the LED monitor features HD 1080p resolution, 21.5 inches, IPS, and HDMI ports.

The monitor utilizes a technology called Splendid Video Intelligence. This feature helps enhance color, contrast, brightness, and sharpness. There are also preset viewing modes that can be used to optimize your viewing experience. These are the 6 modes: sRGB, Night View, Scenery, Theater, Game, and standard.
