Discord will release sound emojis and you can personalize them with your own sounds

Discord, one of the most popular messaging apps in the world, is apparently working on sound emojis, and they will be released in a future update of the platform.
Spotted by Windows enthusiast, @XenoPanther, the sound emojis can be added and played in chat, the same way you would add a regular emoji.
It’s not certain when they’re going to be released, but Discord has started to test them, meaning they will be up and running sooner than you might think. However, sound emojis are not present in the stable version of Discord.
How to add sound emojis in Discord chats
Adding sound emojis in Discord is as easy as adding regular emojis, as we mentioned earlier. According to the spotter, there is a new Sound option when accessing the emoji panel.
Clicking on it will take you to the new Sound emoji panel, where you can choose from a variety of sounds to use in your chat. 
For now, there are 6 sound emojis available to Discord, to test, but there is no doubt the messaging platform will add countless others. There is a quack, airhorn, cricket, golf clap, sad horn, and ba dum tss emoji.
And, it seems Discord will allow you to create your own sound emoji, by adding your own sound. This could be one of those unique features that could greatly improve the messaging experience.
When you select the emoji, it will appear as a playable piece of media within the chat. Users will still have to click on it to hear it, as Discord will not play it automatically.
The feature is still in testing, as Discord is working to improve it before the general release. And if the platform truly lets you personalize your own sound emojis, the feature could turn out to be a game changer within the already popular platform.
