3. Other tips

  1. Make sure that your Report Type is set to Deployed. Ensure you have access to the Report Folder.
  2. Ensure that you have Read access to all the Objects in the Report references. If any objects are a part of a Managed Package that requires a license, check if you have the necessary license.
  3. When viewing Administrative reports, verify the View Setup and Configuration permission on your profile.
  4. Be sure to check the Field Level Security of the Lookup or Master-Detail Relationship field. This will ensure your profile can see this field.
  5. If the report uses multiple objects, ensure that the Lookup field between two objects isn’t hidden by Field Level Security.
  6. If the report type is set to Opportunities with Products, double-check if you have read access to the Price Book object.
  7. For Communities, Customer Portal, or Partner Portal Users the external access for the objects on which the report is based needs to be Private. Also, make sure that the appropriate sharing rules are defined.
