A few years ago, Microsoft launched its survey creation product called Microsoft Forms. Commercial and Office 365 Education users can use this service to create polls, quizzes, questionnaires, and surveys.
Microsoft Forms is specifically popular among teachers and students worldwide.
The big M is still committed to providing advanced analytics capabilities to its business users. Now Microsoft has launched an enterprise variant named Forms Pro.
The new version is expected to offer better alignment with other business apps and improves governance. It was initially announced in February this year.
Microsoft’s Principal Group Program Manager Welly Lee explains in a blog post:
Microsoft Forms Pro is a simple to use, yet robust enterprise-survey solution that integrates with Office 365, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform. It’s built on Microsoft Forms for Office 365 with new, advanced survey capabilities to further support business survey solutions, including point-and-click simplicity to create and send custom surveys, integration with your business processes, and AI-assisted features that provide a deep-level of insights across transactional and behavioral data.

Enterprise customers can easily integrate their surveys into existing products such as Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Office 365. You can use existing data to personalize surveys that can be later embedded into PowerApps.

Microsoft Forms Pro offers some other unique features such as “AI-infused sentiment analysis and keyword detection”. It provides rich data set through the survey data integration with the Common Data Services platform.
If you have Dynamics 365 Enterprise license, you can use Microsoft Forms Pro today. An Enterprise user can use it to get 2,000 survey responses on a monthly basis.
Furthermore, Microsoft allows Enterprise users to purchase additional capacity according to their specific needs. Forms Pro is also available to Office 365 customers.
