The ERROR_ABANDON_HIBERFILE Win32 system error, with code 787 (0x313), appears due to issues with the hibernation feature or its file after you wake the PC from a hibernation state.
Causes behind Error Abandon Hiberfile include problems with the disk, misconfigured boot settings, corrupted system files, and conflicts triggered by third-party apps.
Before you proceed to the solutions, restart the PC, install all pending Windows updates, and scan the PC for malware.

- Paste the following commands individually and hit Enter after each:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

If ERROR_ABANDON_HIBERFILE 787 (0x313) A valid hibernation file has been invalidated and should be abandoned persists, use a top-rated software uninstaller to wipe all traces of the app installation, including leftover files and Registry entries, that might still be conflicting with Windows.
5. Reinstall Windows
When nothing else works, the last option is to reinstall Windows from scratch. Since there’s a possibility of data loss, I recommend moving any critical files to an external storage drive.
To reinstall Windows, go to Microsoft’s official website > download the Media Creation Tool > use it to create a bootable USB drive > turn off the system > access the BIOS > change the boot order to the bootable drive > run the Windows setup > complete the reinstallation.
In my experience, ERROR_ABANDON_HIBERFILE almost always appears due to software-based issues. So, a Windows reinstall will fix it. If not, you should contact Microsoft support for a resolution.
