In the last few days, there have been countless reports of Error Dolphin-028 when signing into Ubisoft Connect. The error message reads, There was an error during your login to Ubisoft Connect. Please restart your client and try again. (Error dolphin-028).
This usually happens due to a misconfigured IP, missing permissions, incorrect proxy settings, conflicting network settings, DNS issues, and a high MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit).
Before you proceed to the slightly complex solutions, restart the PC, terminate any conflicting processes (including GoodbyeDPI), change the Ubisoft account password, and switch a mobile hotspot instead of using a Wi-Fi or LAN connection.

1. Release and renew the IP address
- Press Windows + S to open Search, type Command Prompt in the text field, and click on Run as administrator.
- Click Yes in the UAC prompt.
- Paste the following commands individually and hit Enter after each:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
- Once done, reboot the PC and check for improvements.
