I don’t watch television too often, but when I do, Euronews is one of my favorite TV channels, thanks to their professionalism and really informative shows and reports. So, if you are using Windows 10, 8, be it on a tablet or on a desktop device, I am happy to inform you that the official Euronews app has been released in the Windows Store.
When first opening the app, you will be required to let the Euronews app run in the background. Don’t worry, if you don’t allow it in the beginning, you will be able to do it later on. It needs to run in the background, so that you can receive notifications and quick status updates. After this step, you will be asked to choose the language edition in which you want Euronews to run – English, Deutsch, Francais, Espanol, Italiano, Magyar, Portugues, Russian, Turkish, Greek or Ukrainian.

The official Windows 10, 8 Euronews app looks smashing and everything moves really, really fast inside. The content is grouped in the following sections – top stories, news, business, Europe, culture, sci-tech, environment and programs. When you are in the main area of the app, you can access these section by right clicking and then choosing the content you want to explore; you can also change your language, as well. Most of the articles come with videos and these load really quickly. Also, another cool features is that there are no ads, at all, despite the fact that the app is totally free.

We are updating the article with the video of Euronews for Windows 10, 8 embedded below. You will see that almost all news come with relevant videos and that these load very quickly. Also, changing languages gets instantly updated, and the quality of the design is top notch.
You can also rate stories as good or bad, and after rating, you will see the statistics for the story. Euronews will receive future updates which will include new programs and features, the most important one being the live streaming of Euronews TV. Besides this, there will be news quiz, the option to bookmark your favourite stories and even a search engine. Also, Arabic and Persian languages will be added.
UPDATE: The Euronews app now supports news quizzes allowing you to test your knowledge in order to see if you’ve been carefully listening to recent news reports. You can also express your opinion on the pieces of news that you read, as well as view other users’ opinions on an interactive map. Who knows, maybe coming into contact to a different opinion will change yours a bit.
If you really liked a particular news story, you can share it on social media so that others may hear about it as well. If you prefer to keep up to date with what’s going on in the world, you will soon be able to receive alerts for breaking news.
