Microsoft released the KB5046714 patch to Windows 10 22H2. This rollout, the final update to the Beta Channel, includes new features and improvements, including adding a Recommended section to the Start menu on Windows 10. This section will suggest Microsoft Store apps from a small set of curated developers.
The Recommended section of the Start menu will show some Microsoft Store apps. These apps come from a small set of curated developers, and they will help you discover some of the great available apps. To turn this off, go to Settings > Personalization > Start. Turn off the toggle to show suggestions occasionally at the start.
KB5046714 includes the following features and improvements for Windows 10, including:
- App list backup: Fixed: Win32 shortcuts might not back up to the cloud.
- Copy cloud files: Fixed: Drag-and-drop files from a cloud file provider folder might result in a move instead of a copy.
- Motherboard replacement: Fixed: Windows does not activate after you replace a motherboard.
- Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA): Fixed: This update brings profiles up to date for certain mobile operators.
- Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) printer: Fixed: Windows stops responding when you use an IPP USB printer.
