4. Run SFC & DISM scans
- Press the Windows key, type cmd in the search box, and select Run as administrator from the list of options.
- Copy & paste the following command to repair or restore the missing system files on your computer, and hit Enter:
sfc /scannow
- Wait for the scan to complete, then type the following command to scan the Windows image for corrupted files and repair it with the help of Windows Update, and press Enter:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Once the scan is successfully executed, restart your machine to save the changes.
5. Roll Back the recently updated driver
- Press Windows + R to open the Run window.
- Type devmgmt.msc and click OK to open the Device Manager app.
- Locate the recently installed driver in the list of system components, right-click it, and select Properties from the context menu.
- On the Properties window, switch to the Driver tab, and click Roll Back Driver.
- Select the reason for rolling back the driver and click Yes to confirm.
6. Restore your computer to a previous point
- Press the Windows key, type control panel in the search box, and click Open.
- Choose Large icons for View by, and click Recovery from the list of options.
- Click Open System Restore.
- Select Choose a different restore point on the System Restore window, and click Next to proceed.
- From the list of available restore points on your Window, select the one created before the libgdk-win32-2.0-0.dll not found error appeared, and click Next.
- Click Finish.
