Before we try to fix this issue, try restarting your PC and reinstalling Visual C++ Redistributables. Also, disable any overlays or always keep your game up to date.

1. Verify the integrity of game files

  1. Launch the Steam app.
  2. On your Steam launcher, click Library.Steam Library

2. Disable game optimization

3. Update the graphics driver

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run window.

6. Disable full screen optimization

  1. Right-click the game’s executable file.
  2. Select Properties from the dropdown menu.
  3. Go to the Compatibility tab.

  6. Click OK.

7. Disable background apps

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  2. Go to the Processes tab.processes tab in task manager
  3. Look for any apps using high CPU, memory, or disk.
  4. Right-click the unwanted app or process.
  5. Select End Task.
