It’s Microsoft Surface Event day, but the Redmond-based tech giant couldn’t help itself from teasing us with some AI announcements, including a brand-new Copilot in Microsoft Shopping.

Yes, you’ve read that right. Apparently, Copilot will make its way to Microsoft Shopping and the AI tool will help you make the best decisions when shopping online.

How does it do that? Well, Microsoft will integrate Copilot on Edge and Bing, among other integrations, and you’ll be able to use Copilot in Microsoft Shopping.

From now on, when shopping, Bing will ask you for additional information every time you look for an item online that you want to buy. Bing will then use that information and it will provide you with tailored recommendations.

And it will definitely change, and shorten the time you spend shopping online, too. The Copilot in Microsoft Shopping will compare prices, read reviews, and come with a summarization of them for you, and it will even recommend tailored suggestions, based on your own search history.

But this is not all, though. You’ll also be able to start your shopping sessions from a saved image on your device. Copilot will then use it to find the product you’re looking for, or similar products to the one in the images.microsoft shopping copilot

You’ll be able to have a comprehensive review of your online shopping, and we know this sounds fancy, but it’s the truth: you can compare prices, read review summarization, and find the products you’ve been looking for easily.

The tool will be released on Windows 11 on September 26, 2023, along with the 23H2 release. This will also be the release of Copilot on Windows 11, and the AI tool promises to deliver.

However, for now, Copilot in Microsoft Shopping definitely sounds like a very good idea. Just imagine the time you’re going to save now, shopping online. Especially if this is not your favorite activity.
