  1. Look for the DisabledComponents key and set the value to 0 then select OK
  2. Close the registry and restart your computer. 
  3. Start your device manager by clicking on the Windows + R  and type: devmgmt.mscdevmgmt.msc
  1. Check to see if the Teredo Tunneling Adapter exists in the device manager by clicking the view button at the top and showing hidden devices.Show hidden files
  1. You should see your Teredo Tunneling adapter without any warning signs next to it. 

2. Uninstall all Teredo Tunneling Adapters & Interfaces.

If the first solution does not work consider uninstalling the adapter. 

  1. In the device manager, right-click on the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-interface
  2. Make sure to also uninstall all the Microsoft Tunneling Adapters. They should be displayed with numbers at the end. 
  3. You can use this guide to reinstall the adapter in your device manager. 

If you still have issues after reinstalling the adapter, consider solution 3. 

3. Use the NETSH command to enable Teredo Client

  1. On your Windows, search for the CMD prompt and right-click cmd. 
  2. Select the Run as Administrator option to start the terminal as an admin. open command prompt
  1. Once done, type in these commands in this order:

netsh

int teredo

set state disabled

int ipv6

set teredo client

  1. Close the command prompt and open your device manager through the steps detailed above.
  2. Check to see if the Teredo Tunneling Adapter exists in the device manager by clicking the view button at the top and showing hidden devices. Show hidden files
