The new Gold Shadow color gives it a metallic, elegant look that almost makes it look like a piece of art, rather than an Xbox controller.
For now, the Redmond-based tech giant is selling it at a reduced price of $64.99, below the average price for wireless controllers. And yes, this Gold Shadow tinted Xbox controller is wireless, compatible with Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, plus an array of other devices such as Windows 10/11 PCs, tablets, iOS, and Android.
It uses Bluetooth to connect to these devices, and it supports AA batteries that offer up to 40 hours of battery life, more than enough for decent gaming sessions.

The release of the new Gold Shadow Xbox controller was positively received by many Xbox users and fans, with over 80% of the users saying that it’s a good-looking controller when asked in a poll.
However, users also agreed that Xbox would look good in Gold Shadow wrap, to go along with the new controller.
