Changing the currency in Windows 8 is easy if you follow the below mentioned steps. Some users have been reporting that their Windows 8 store is showing the wrong currency, so you need to do the following to fix it.

In Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, just like in previous versions, you can change the format Windows uses to display dates, times, currency, and measurements. Most of these things are enabled the first time when you install Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 (some might want to uninstall it already ).

  • In the Region windows that will open, click on Location and change it to your country
  • If you need to further customizations, then go to Additional Settings and Customize the currency format
