Xbox emerges as the top platform for Diablo 4, confirms Xbox president

When Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, everyone knew games from the latter would feature in the Xbox Game Pass. It took a while, but things got into motion, and soon, Diablo 4 came to the Xbox Game Pass on March 28, 2024.

Now, Xbox President Sarah Bond has confirmed that Xbox is the best platform for Diablo 4. In an interview with Windows Central, Sarah said,

We are integrating Activision Blizzard King titles into our services — we launched Diablo IV into Game Pass, and Xbox has quickly become the #1 platform for Diablo 4 players.

The game’s PC release was also a success, but users had to install Battle.net to play Diablo 4.

In the future, we will see more Activision Blizzard titles coming to the Xbox Game Pass, and expect similar results for each. As per reports, this year’s Xbox Showcase will witness exciting titles being announced.

We will have to wait and see if Xbox losing the console war will affect Microsoft’s future plans!
