Xbox Reveals All the New Games Hitting Game Pass At March Event
The recent Xbox Partner Preview broadcast was packed with major announcements. The biggest takeaway for many players was the sheer volume of titles heading to the subscription service. Microsoft confirmed 14 new games are officially coming to Xbox Game Pass over the next year or two. Overall, the publisher showcased 19 different projects during the event, offering something for almost every type of player.
From brutal survival horror games to colorful platformers, the company made sure to pack the showcase with day-one releases.
A massive boost for the subscription catalog is coming to Xbox
The digital event highlighted several high-profile projects from third-party developers. Microsoft showed that it is still heavily focused on adding value to its monthly subscription. Heavy hitters like Alien Deathstorm and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn grabbed plenty of attention with fresh gameplay trailers. Both of these massive science fiction adventures will be available to subscribers on the same day they launch.
Players also got a good look at Vaunted, an upcoming real-time strategy game that will drop into early access for PC players later this year. Here is the complete list of games/DLCs/updates confirmed for the service during the event:
1) Alien Deathstorm
Rebellion is bringing a terrifying new first-person action horror game to consoles in 2027. You play as a combat engineer trying to survive on a ruined off-world colony ravaged by a massive storm. The gameplay mixes survival horror with fast shooting mechanics against hordes of bloodthirsty alien monsters.
2) Artificial Detective
This upcoming action adventure drops you into the metal shoes of a wisecracking robot looking for lost humanity. You team up with a single surviving human child to solve the mystery. It arrives on platforms in 2027 with full cross-play support, offering explosive third-person combat and exploration.
3) Ascend To Zero
A time-bending roguelike where you manipulate the clock to gain a tactical edge. You freeze enemies to reset your position, reload weapons, and chain together massive attacks. The cyberpunk-inspired pixel art adventure hits consoles and PC on July 13, 2026, offering fast action and endless replayability.
4) Bluey’s Happy Snaps
Families can jump into a new photo-powered adventure game based on the hit cartoon. You explore familiar locations around Brisbane, snap pictures with a camera, and decorate scrapbooks. Gameloft is launching the title across multiple systems this fall, featuring local cooperative play for two players.
5) Dispatch
A tense new cooperative experience where communication is your only lifeline. You and your friends must coordinate emergency responses in real time to save civilians from dangerous situations. It tests your ability to stay calm under pressure and launches this summer for players looking for a serious teamwork challenge.
6) Forever Ago
Following a tragic event, an older man named Alfred goes on a road trip north to seek redemption. You capture memories with a vintage camera and meet interesting characters along the way. The single-player story game arrives in fall 2026, focusing heavily on narrative choices and emotional moments.
7) Frog Sqwad
Gather up to eight friends for a chaotic physics-based puzzle platformer. You control frogs and use elastic tongues to catapult each other around the sewers. Your main goal is eating enough food to please the Swamp King when the wacky multiplayer game launches this June.
8) Grave Seasons
A cozy narrative farming simulator with a massive twist. You grow crops and romance the locals, but one of the townspeople is secretly a supernatural serial killer. You have to figure out the mystery while managing your daily chores. It launches on August 14, 2026, blending relaxing farming with tension.
9) Hades 2
The highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning roguelike dungeon crawler is almost here. You use dark magic to battle beyond the Underworld and take on the Titan of Time in completely new arenas. The game finally drops on April 14, 2026, bringing fresh weapons and devastating abilities.
10) Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish
A classic franchise returns as a massive action RPG. You hunt down supernatural monsters hidden within society using a mix of modern weapons and ancient magic. The developer plans to launch its gritty reboot in 2027, promising a dark storyline where your choices directly impact the world.
11) Moosa: Dirty Fate

The notoriously difficult platformer moves into a fully 3D environment. You navigate circular saws and lasers from new angles while trying to rescue Bandage Girl. The punishing new adventure officially launches on March 31, 2026, keeping the tight physics that fans know and love.
16) The Eternal Life of Goldman
A beautiful platformer featuring hand-drawn landscapes and epic boss fights. You play as an older gentleman who uses unique gadgets and unusual weapons to traverse dangerous environments. The studio plans to release the game sometime in 2026, offering a fresh take on classic side-scrolling action.
17) The Expanse: Osiris Reborn
A third-person action RPG set in a popular science fiction universe. You play as a mercenary navigating a massive conspiracy using tactical gadgets and cover-based shooting. The developer confirmed a closed beta is happening in April ahead of its 2027 launch, letting players test the mechanics early.
18) Vaunted

Variety is the main focus for future releases
While big action games took up a lot of screen time, the company also made sure to highlight smaller, unique projects. Fans of punishing difficulty can look forward to Super Meat Boy 3D arriving at the end of March. Cooperative shooter fans also have Serious Sam: Shatterverse to keep on the radar.
