To enable NPAPI support on Chrome or on Chromium-based browsers, visit the Chrome web store and search for the IE tab on the left.
As you hit Enter, you see the IE Tab application at the top of the result page. Click to select.

Now, in the Add IE Tab prompt, click on Add extension.
Once the extension is added, click on the e logo at the top and Chrome will download the installation file.
Click on the .exe file to complete the installation.

How do I enable HIK connect on my browser?

Enter the device’s IP address in the browser, hit Enter, input the credentials, and click on Login.
Navigate to Configuration, expand Network, choose Basic Settings under it, and verify the DNS server details. If any changes are made, make sure to save them.
Now, go to Advanced Settings, head to the Platform-Access tab, and tick the checkbox for Enable.
When setting up for the first time, you will be asked to set a verification code. Enter it, and click on OK.
Click Save to confirm the changes.

How do I access Hikvision NVR through my browser?

The browser will reload now, and you will enter Internet Explorer mode.
