Microsoft fanatics have been waiting for what seems like forever to get their hands on the Surface phone. But the launch has been delayed and there is no set release date yet. For now, fans are going off of concept images and videos that combine possible features and make imagining the new device a little easier.
Most of the concept images and videos are based on the fact that CEO Satya Nadella once said the phone will look nothing like what we’ve been using to date. This comment has mobile device users beyond Microsoft fans, wondering what more could a mobile device do or look like to surpass the ever-popular iPhone and Android devices that have become a staple in the market.
Surface phone concept video
One new concept video that’s received recently  some attention was posted to YouTube by Amir Estefad and Mohammad Reza Alidoost UI/ UX designers, includes just about every feature the Microsoft community has been requesting and speculating about the new Surface phone.
As you can see in the video, the screen is large and wraps around the device, there’s tons of easy functionality on the screen and its slim and sleek. Requests to include these options in the upcoming phone have been made across forums and user communities.
This new design is both exciting and hopeful since it’s not too far fetched (previous rumors included foldable phones). This concept represents something that could actually work to increase productivity and ease of use. That of course remains to be seen by the tech features and performance of the phone, but for now, we can hope Microsoft is listening.
