- Copy & paste the following command to re-register the coIEPlg.DLL and hit Enter:
regsvr32 coIEPlg.DLL
- Click OK when prompted and restart your PC to save the changes.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Once the scan is executed, reboot your computer to let the changes take effect.
5. Restore your system to an older version
- Press Windows + R to open the Run console.
- Type sysdm.cpl and click OK to open the System Properties window.
- Go to the System Protection tab, and click the System Restore button.
- Select Choose a different restore point on the System Restore window, then click Next to proceed.
- Choose the restore point before you see the coIEPlg.dll missing error from the list of available restore points, and clickย Next.
- Click Finish to start the process.

6. Download the DLL file manually
- Click the DLL-FILES website link to open the coIEPlg.dll page, then click Download.
- Double-click the downloaded folder to open it, and copy the DLL file in it.

C:\Program Files\Common Files
- Restart your computer to let the changes take effect.
