1. Make changes in the Scratch Disk option

  1. On the Illustrator app, go to the Edit option.
  2. Click Preferences
  3.  Now click General, then press Ctrl + K

  5. Under the Scratch Disk option. Select C for Primary from the drop-down. 
  6. Then again, select C drive for Secondary from the drop-down. Primary Scracth Disk
  7. Click OK and restart the Illustrator app.

2. Update the Illustrator app

  1. Launch the Creative Cloud app. 
  2. Go to Apps, and click Updates from the left pane. Updates-Apps -illustrator can't finish previewing
  3. Now select Illustrator and click Check for updates from the upper right corner. 
  4. If an update is available, click Update

3. Run Disk Cleanup

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run console.

4. Split the Complex artwork
