Meta Quest Browser extensions

Meta Quest has been present for years on the market, and while it is a solid device, its web browser has been uneventful, just like any other VR browser.

The company is determined to change that, and it’s going to do that by adding extension support to Meta Quest Browser.

Extension support is in beta, but we might see it available soon

Browser extensions are an essential part of a web browser since they allow users to customize their browser and enhance it with additional functionality.

While VR browsers might be lacking in this regard, the Meta Quest Browser is looking to change that according to Mixed Reality News.

With the beta version 32.1 users can now finally install browser extensions to Quest Browser. While this sounds great, currently only the LastPass extension is available.

However, if this feature takes off, we expect to see other extensions available as well. This feature is available only to selected users, but hopefully, we should see it available someday in the future.

Meta also introduced its Meta Quest+ service that works as a Game Pass, so if you haven’t already, be sure to give it a try.
