What can I do if Microsoft Bookings is not sending a confirmation mail?

1. Relogin with your Microsoft account

  1. Open the Microsoft Office website.
  2. Click on the Profile icon on the top right.
  3. Select Sign out.
  4. Select your valid account.
  5. Wait for a moment for Microsoft Bookings to load.

There might be some temporary glitch with your Microsoft account that could be causing the problem where Microsoft Bookings is not sending confirmation mail. Simply log in with your valid Microsoft Office account and see if this resolves the issue or not.

2. Use Microsoft Bookings in Incognito mode

  1. Launch the browser that you are using. In our case, it is Google Chrome.
  2. Click on the 3-dot menu icon.
  3. Select New Incognito window. You can alternatively, press the Ctrl + Shift + N to open Incognito mode.
  4. Visit the Microsoft Bookings website.
  5. Login with your account and check if this fixes the issue or not.

When you switch on the Incognito mode or use the browser in Incognito mode, not only it helps a bit with your privacy but also disables all the third-party extensions that might be conflicting with the online web apps.

3. Turn on the setting in Microsoft Bookings

  1. Visit the Microsoft 365 website.
  2. Login with your account.
  3. Go to Bookings.
  4. Select the Bookings Page.
  5. Under the Email notifications section, check the boxes for Notify the business via email when a booking is created or changed and Send a meeting invite to the customer, in addition to the confirmation email options.
  6. Select Services from the left pane.
  7. Click on the corresponding service.
  8. Under Reminders and Confirmations, select Send reminder to Customer.
  9. Make sure both the Notify the business via email when a booking is created or changed and Send a meeting invite to the customer, in addition to the confirmation email options are checked.

For a feature to work properly, you first need to enable the feature, which you might have missed.

4. Re-enable Microsoft Bookings in the admin portal

  1. Visit the Microsoft 365 website.
  2. Login to the admin center.
  3. Select Settings in the admin center.
  4. Click on Settings again.
  5. Click on Bookings.
  6. Check the box for Allow your organization to use Bookings. This will enable or disable the Bookings for your organization.
  7. Click on Save changes.
