Rumors recently suggested that NVIDIA partners could resume production of the GeForce RTX 3060 due to reported issues surrounding RTX 5050 manufacturing. Now, those rumors appear to be gaining credibility as Colorful has begun restocking GeForce RTX 3060 12GB graphics cards in China, as VideoCardz writes.

The information comes from a new post on Board Channels, where fresh retail listings for the older Ampere-based GPU were spotted.

One of the newly listed models is the Colorful Battle Axe GeForce RTX 3060 DUO 12GB V2, signaling that the RTX 3060 may continue to play a role in the budget and lower-midrange gaming market.

Pricing Similar to Original MSRP

According to reports, the channel price for the RTX 3060 12GB is set at 2199 RMB, which converts to roughly $325 USD.

Meanwhile, Colorful’s official online store lists the graphics card at 2349 RMB, or approximately $347 USD, depending on exchange rates.

That places the GPU slightly above the original $329 MSRP of the GeForce RTX 3060 12GB when it first launched, although regional taxes and import costs can significantly affect final retail pricing.

Availability

Colorful’s official listing indicates that shipments are expected to begin this week. Current delivery estimates suggest customers should receive orders before June 5.

Reports also claim that the initial allocation is relatively limited, with only a few dozen units reportedly distributed to each region during the first shipment wave.

Weekly Restocks Planned

Sources familiar with the matter say Colorful is preparing ongoing weekly restocks for the RTX 3060 12GB.

This suggests the newly listed inventory may not simply be leftover warehouse stock being cleared out. Instead, it could represent a broader refresh of RTX 3060 supply for the Chinese market.

Despite being several generations old, the GeForce RTX 3060 12GB remains attractive to many gamers because of its larger VRAM capacity.

Although the GPU is no longer new, its 12GB VRAM configuration still makes it a compelling option for budget-conscious gamers looking for a capable graphics card.

In other NVIDIA news, the company recently unveiled its new RTX Spark CPU during Computex 2026, officially expanding into the Windows PC CPU market.
