Reddit Enhancement Suite is a browser extension for Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Edge that enhances your Reddit browsing experience.

  • A button in your browser’s toolbar that allows you to quickly create new posts, comments, and submissions.
  • An interface to view all posts from a particular subreddit on one page.

Easy, on your selected browser, search for the tool on the associated store, install the plugin, and start using it right away.

What can I do if the Reddit enhancement suite isn’t working? 

1. Reddit enhancement suite not working on Chrome

  1. Navigate to your browser and in a new tab, enter the following address: chrome://extensions/
  2. Locate the RES extension and click Remove.
  3. Navigate again to the Chrome Web Store, search for RES and click Add to Chrome.

2. Reddit enhancement suite not working on Firefox

  1. Navigate to your browser, hit the three settings icon at the top right corner, and select Add-ons and themes.
  2. Click on the three ellipses next to the Reddit Enhancement Suite and click Remove.
  3. Confirm Remove in the next window that pops up.
  4. Go back to the Firefox Addons, find RES, and click Get to add it again.

3. Reddit enhancement suite not working on Safari

  1. Navigate to your Safari browser, click on Safari, and select Preferences.
  2. Go to the Extensions tab, find RES, and click on Uninstall.
  3. Navigate to your Safari browser, click on Safari, and select Safari Extensions.
  4. Search for RES and select Install.

4. Reddit enhancement suite not working on Edge

  1. Navigate to your browser and click the three horizontal ellipses and select Extensions.
  2. Locate the RES extension and click Remove.
  3. Click on Remove in the next window that pops up.
  4. Go back to the store, find RES, and click the Get button to install it again.

What can I do if the Reddit enhancement suite filter is not working?

When you set up filters in RES, you only want to see certain posts on your homepage to avoid missing any important updates.

Sometimes, the filter option may fail to perform its duties and your feed will be full of all Reddit threads that you don’t want to see. The solution to this problem is simple.

If you are using the redesigned version, you just need to download the old version of RES on old.reddit.com and it should work just fine.
