How do I add or remove a reminder in Outlook?

1. Add a reminder to an email message

  1. Click on Message and choose Follow Up.
  2. Select the desired reminder time.
  3. Save changes.

How do I remove a reminder from an email message?

  1. Open the list of sent messages.
  2. Locate the one that has the follow-up flag.
  3. Right-click it and choose the Clear flag to remove follow-up reminders.

2. Add a reminder to the Calendar

  1. Navigate to Calendar in Outlook.
  2. Select New Appointment or New Meeting.
  3. Now, expand the Reminder drop-down menu and select the desired interval.
  4. Fill in other event information and click on Save & Close to save the event reminder.

How do I remove a reminder from the Calendar?

  1. Open the Calendar and double-click the desired event.
  2. Locate the Reminder menu and set it to None.
  3. Click on Save & Close to save changes.

3. Add a task reminder

  1. Open Outlook, and click the To Do icon.
  2. Click on Remind me in the task information and select the desired time.
