This week, Microsoft released a significant update to the Canary and Dev channels with build 26052. This update introduces various enhancements, including improvements in Registry Editor, Hearing Aid Support, and the addition of Sudo for Windows.
According to reports, we will get another feature update for Windows 11 within the next month.
Talks about the Windows 11 24H2 initially surfaced within a DMSA Group Policy at the end of last year, and then recently, official Microsoft documentation also confirmed it.
This news excited the Insiders as they are eager to explore the first preview of 24H2 and the latest new features it will bring to Windows 11.
However, with the new build, we are bound to have issues. With this build, users have encountered installation issues.

Several Insiders also reported the same problem on Feedback Hub. One of the complaints was:
Trying to upgrade to Build 26052 on my PC failed and rolled back with error code 0XC1900101
According to the comments on the thread, the additional information that came to light was that the installation is failing with error code 0XC1900101, and some are encountering Green Screen of Death (GSOD) with an error message GSOD SYSTEM_PTE_MISUSE.
Some comments also indicated potential Sysprep compatibility issues with an error code 0xC1900101 – 0x30018, and The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during the SYSPREP_SPECIALIZE operation message.
As of now, there is no resolution for this issue, and we are yet to get official confirmation from Microsoft about a resolution of the installation issue.
