Jade Green Controller

Gaming accessory maker 8BitDo has introduced a new addition to its Ultimate 3-mode controller lineup: the Jade Green Controller. This latest model, announced on X, features a translucent green design inspired by the original Xbox console’s special edition, adding a fresh aesthetic to the existing black-and-white variants.

The Jade Green Controller boasts advanced hardware, including Hall effect analog joysticks and impulse triggers, which provide precise control and vibration feedback. It also includes two programmable Pro buttons on the back grips, updated bumpers, a D-pad, and a standard 3.5mm audio jack for headset connectivity.

Designed for versatility, the controller supports multiple connection modes:

  • Wireless connectivity via a 2.4G USB dongle for Windows PCs.
  • Bluetooth compatibility with Apple and Android devices.
  • Wired USB connection for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.

The onboard mode-switching button allows users to easily switch between Xbox, PC, and Android platforms. Additionally, the controller allows the creation and storage of up to three custom profiles through the 8BitDo Ultimate Software application.

The Jade Edition includes a multifunctional charging dock priced at $69.99. Pre-orders are now available on Amazon, and the official release date is set for May 15, 2025.
