3. Check the port forwarding settings

PlayStation

1. Go to the Settings menu on your console.
2. Navigate to Network, then select View Connection Status.
3. Locate the IP address in the connection status menu and note down the IP address.

Xbox

1. Press the Xbox button to open the Guide, then go to Settings.
2. Go to Network, then choose Network settings.
3. Choose Advanced settings and make a note of the IP address.

PC

1. Press the Windows key, type cmd in the search box, and click Open. 
2. Type the following command and hit Enter: ipconfig
3. Locate the Ethernet adapter option if you have a wired connection or Wireless LAN adapter for Wi-Fi, and note the IPv4 address.

7. Click OK or Save to confirm the changes.

4. Change the DNS settings

PlayStation

1. Go to the Settings menu on your console.
2. Navigate to Network.

5. Select Manual for Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8 and for Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4.

4. Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click the Properties button.
5. Select Use the following DNS server addresses, type 8.8.8.8 for the Preferred DNS server, and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server, and click OK.
6. Click OK.
