How to Fix GlobalProtect Not Working on Hotspot: 5 Ways

First, refresh the VPN connection

GlobalProtect users may encounter challenges on a hotspot connection. They are limiting their ability to connect to their organization’s network or access critical resources.

The most common reasons GlobalProtect won’t work on a hotspot are network restrictions, incorrect VPN settings (like invalid server or certificate), firewall blocks, data limits causing slow connections, and device restrictions. For more on slow VPN issues, see slow corporate VPN performance.
