Microsoft Teams will introduce the Queues app on Teams phone devices. This app allows users to handle incoming calls, view call queues, and even manage call history directly from their phone devices without using the desktop version.
According to the entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the Redmond-based tech giant plans to add the Queues app to Teams phone devices starting in December.
This means that communication will become not only faster but also efficient and effortless, allowing managers to quickly grasp conversations without wasting time.
Here’s what the entry says:
Queues app on Teams phone devices enhances call management capabilities by allowing agents to handle incoming calls, view call queues, and manage call history directly from their Teams phone devices, improving efficiency and ensuring effortless communication for agents.
For now, the Queues app is only available on Android devices, and Microsoft hasn’t said anything about iOS, but iPhone support might also be available in the following months.
The Redmond-based tech giant has been updating the platform on Android devices: Teams will provide an immersive experience on Rooms on Android, thanks to a new 3×3 Gallery View coming to these devices.
