Sometimes you want to fine-tune your audio, only to find out that an equalizer is missing in Realtek Audio Console. This can be a problem, but there are ways to get it back.

What can I do if the equalizer is missing the Realtek Audio Console?

If your device has Dolby, DTS, Nahmic, or other premium audio, your equalizer will be moved to that software, so you’ll have to use it there.

1. Disable DTSAPO3Service

  1. Press Windows key + R and type services.msc.

  2. Locate DTSAPO3Service and double-click it.
  3. Next, click on Stop to stop the service.
  4. Set the Startup type to Disabled.

  5. Click Apply and OK to save changes.

2. Reinstall Realtek software

  1. Open the Settings app using Windows key + I.
  2. Navigate to Apps and select Installed apps.

  3. Locate the Realtek software, click the three dots next to it, and choose Uninstall.

  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to remove it.
  5. Once done, download Realtek Audio Console and install it again.

A few users suggested using an older version if possible, so consider doing that as well.

3. Install custom Realtek audio drivers

  1. If you have Nahmic or any other premium audio software installed, remove it.
  2. Uninstall any Realtek drivers that you have.
  3. Go to Realtek UAD generic GitHub page.
  4. Download the necessary files.

If this solution is too complicated, you can always use a Realtek Audio Console alternative instead.
