What can I do if my Xbox friend list disappeared?

1. Power cycle your Xbox console

  1. Press the Power button on the Xbox console for ten seconds to remove any residual energy.Press Xbox power button
  2. Unplug the power cable from the console and wait for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Connect the power cable back into the console and press the Power button to turn it on.
  4. After the Xbox is fully booted, try to access your friends list and see if it appears.

2. Restart Windows in Safe Mode

  1. Click the Start button and select Settings.
  2. Choose Update & Security.
  3. Click on Recovery from the left pane, then click on Restart now under Advanced startup.
  4. After rebooting, you will get the Advanced Recovery Options page.

Restarting Windows in Safe Mode will resolve startup issues that may affect the Xbox app on your PC.

3. Check your Friends list online

  1. Launch a browser on your PC.
  2. Go to Xbox.com and sign in with your Xbox Live login credential.
  3. Click on your Profile icon.Go to your Xbox profile
