Key notes
- Peacock TV has an attractive free tier that has a bit of everything for everyone.
- Unfortunately, geo-restrictions only allow US (and recently Uk and Ireland) residents to enjoy this streaming service.
- That's easy to fix with a good VPN. But what about the Premium plan?
- Is Peacock not accepting your payment? Don't worry, we'll show you exactly how to pay for Peacock TV outside US.
PeacockTV is the go-to streaming service for movies, TV series, and live sports aficionados worldwide, and the best part is that it is as free as a bird, to put it in their own words.
While the plans start at free – and the content made available without any charge is not neglectable (about two-thirds of Peacock’s library) – you will get the most out of Peacock by subscribing to a premium plan.
So, you can go for a monthly subscription or a year-based payment plan (which also saves you a bit of cash), and you can enjoy the service on pretty much any platform, from PCs to tablets, smartphones, Chromecast devices, with various price packages and the payment options are just as diverse.
So where’s the catch? You guessed it, it’s (almost) US exclusive. Once you set foot outside the US, you will face the cruel reality of the Peacock: Unavailable in your region message.
How to watch Peacock TV outside the US?

Why is my Peacock payment not working?
Here’s the million-dollar question. And speaking of dollars, you should know (even though we’re convinced you already do) that Peacock Premium requires an American card, and that’s that.
If you try to pay for your subscription with any other card, you’ll likely see a message stating that Peacock is not accepting payments. So, where does that leave you? Is it really impossible to get Peacock Premium outside the US?
Not really. As always, we got your back. But first, let’s take a closer look at the payment options.
Payment method | Details |
Credit Card Visa/MasterCard/Discover/American Express | Only American-issued cards are accepted |
PayPal account | Gift cards can be redeemed on the Peacocks website during checkout, and they also offer Peacock promotional codes. |

iTunes | Available if you install Peacock from the Apple App Store and select your plan. |
