Home » eM Client review: an advanced email client for Windows

There are many great email clients on the market that allow us to easily check our emails. However, if you’re looking for an email client that offers advanced features, you might want to consider eM Client.

eM Client, the most powerful email client for Windows

eM Client was first released almost 10 years ago, and over the years it became one of the most advanced email clients. The first time you start eM Client you’ll be asked to choose a theme and set up your account. The account creation process is rather straightforward and to set up your account you just need to enter your email and password. After you do that, eM Client will do the rest in the background. The application works with all popular webmail services such as Gmail, Exchange, iCloud, and Outlook, so you won’t have any problems using them with eM Client.

The application supports data import, so you can easily import all your contacts and emails from other email clients such as Outlook, Thunderbird and others. We also have to mention that this application works with almost all email protocols, including POP3, SMTP, IMAP, EWS, and AirSync.

The application has three panes, and the left pane allows you to navigate to different email categories and email accounts. You can also change the layout of the application so it can resemble any other email client or webmail service. Of course, you can save and export your theme and use it on any other PC.

It’s worth mentioning that the application also has a built-in calendar and tasks feature allowing you to easily organize your time. The calendar automatically syncs with your Google Calendar, so you’ll be able to see all events without any extra configuration. Of course, there’s also a Contacts feature so you can easily see and organize your contacts. You can add one of many labels to your contacts in order to organize them better. Thanks to this feature, you can easily find any contact and send a quick email message to it. In addition, you can see both email history and attachment history right from the Contacts section. It’s also worth mentioning that you can export all your contacts to a CSV or HTML file with a single click.

The middle pane holds all your emails allowing you to sort them using several different criteria. Once you click the desired email, you’ll see its contents in the right pane. There’s also a hidden panel on the right that allows you to check message history and attachment history from any contact. Thanks to this feature, you can easily preview or read any older message from a specific contact.

There’s also an Agenda feature that you can use to create tasks and reminders with ease. Lastly, there’s a built-in chat so you can have real-time chat with your contacts. eM Client allows you to export the list of emails with ease, and you can even download emails and read them later.

eM Client allows you to add contacts right from the main screen, and you can even create distribution groups with ease. As for email writing, standard formatting features are available, but there’s also an ability to add a Quick Text or signature. eM Client also has Read Receipt and Delivery Receipt features, so you can see if your email message was delivered and read by the recipient. These features are rather useful, but you have to enable them for each email message manually.

The application has a full touch support, so you can use it without any problems on your tablet or any other touchscreen device. Speaking of features, the application has built-in search that allows you to find any email, contact or attachment in a matter of seconds.

eM Client fully supports SSL and TLS standards, so all your emails will be safe from third-parties. In addition, there are S/MIME and PGP encryption features available. Another useful feature that some users might like is the ability to send delayed messages. Thanks to this feature, you can write an email and send it at a specific time and date. We also have to mention that eM Client has a built-in translator that can translate both incoming and outgoing messages with ease.

With eM Client you can add multiple email accounts and use them simultaneously. Thanks to this feature, you can use your business and personal email account from a single application. This means that you won’t have to sign out and switch to a different account in order to check or reply to your emails. Thanks to the Smart Folders feature, you can view emails from all accounts in a single inbox with ease.

eM Client offers a wide array of features, and it’s perfect for both basic and advanced users alike. The application is available in two versions, Free and PRO, and the Free version comes with some limitations. For example, the Free version isn’t available for commercial use, and it doesn’t offer VIP support. In addition, the Free version allows you to work only with two email accounts.

On the other hand, the PRO version allows you to work with unlimited number of email accounts, and it also offers VIP support and it’s fully available for commercial use. Overall, eM Client is a great email client with some advanced features, so if you’re looking for a new email client, we strongly recommend to check out eM Client.
