Microsoft’s efforts in the education space continues today as it releases the Microsoft Math app for Windows Phone.
Just as its name suggest, the free app is designed to help teach math to students. It sets out to do so by personalizing the learning experience and making it more engaging and “exciting” to students. How is Microsoft going to make math exciting you ask? The answer lies in the social dimension built into the learning experience, so students can motivate and challenge each other through the app.
“[Microsoft Math] is a great tool for enriching the learning experience, engaging students even after school hours and outside classrooms.” – Microsoft
Teachers can also use the app to monitor and track how well students grasp what they’ve learned from the app and their skill progression in various topics including Algebra, Calculus, Geometry and more so they can offer better feedback to individual students. You can download the app now by heading over to the download link below.
