How to install VPN on Eero routers?

1. Decide on a good router for VPN. For this guide, we decided to use a DD-WRT Router.
2. Get a VPN client and create an account. We decided to install NordVPN on Eero because it’s secure and fast.
3. In your web browser, open the DD-WRT Administrative Interface.
4. Go to Setup.
5. Select Basic Setup.
6. Scroll to Network Addresses Server Settings (DHCP) and enter the following information:
   • Static DNS 1: 103.86.96.100
   • Static DNS 2: 103.86.99.100
   • Static DNS 3: 0.0.0.0 (default)
   • Use DNSMasq for DHCP: Checked
   • Use DNSMasq for DNS: Checked
   • DHCP-Authoritative: Checked
     
7. Go to Setup>IPV6.
8. Check the box for Disable and save your settings.
9. Go to the Services Tab and select VPN.
10. Scroll to OpenVPN and set Start OpenVPN Client to Enable.
11. You will have to enter a server address for the NordVPN server you want to use and download its corresponding OpenVPN configuration files.
