One of Edge for Android’s most frustrating bugs, which causes the browser to crash repeatedly upon opening after being terminated, is now finally fixed thanks to the latest Dev update, 135.0.3140.0.
Released earlier this week, the build also fixes a similar bug that causes Edge on Android to crash when taking a certain action, such as clicking on the address bar after signing in with an AAD account.
These bugs are frustrating because of their nature: users will undoubtedly find themselves in this situation because they must interact with the UI.
Fortunately, the bugs, which are still present in the stable version of Edge on Android, will also be entirely fixed for the stable channel in a few weeks.
Edge Dev 135.0.3140.0 also adds a reflow button in the address bar on Android and fixes dozens of pressing bugs for Android and iOS, as well. The bugs mainly have to do with the UI, so you might experience huge improvements after installing the update.
Talking about improved experiences on Edge, the browser is now 40% faster thanks to WebUI 2.0.
