Here’s how to fix LG Sound Bar Bluetooth problems

One of the more popular Bluetooth speakers is LG Sound Bar, and despite the great features that this speaker has to offer, it has some Bluetooth issues with Windows 10, so in today’s article we’ll show you how to fix those issues once and for all.

Solution 7 – Update your drivers

If you’re having problems with your LG Sound Bar speaker and Bluetooth, perhaps the issue is related to your driver. Solution 8 – Run the built-in troubleshooter

According to users, if you’re having issues with audio or with LG Sound Bar, perhaps you can fix the problem simply by running the built-in troubleshooter. As you may know, Windows has several built-in troubleshooters, and you can use them to fix various problems automatically.

They aren’t always the best solution, but it’s a great starting point for fixing issues. To run a built-in troubleshooter, you need to do the following:

  1. Open the Settings app and navigate to the Update & Security section.

Solution 9 – Roll back or reinstall your Bluetooth drivers

As previously mentioned, your driver can sometimes cause a problem with the Bluetooth device. To fix the issue, you need to do roll back or reinstall your Bluetooth driver. This is quite simple to do, and you can do it by following these steps:

  1. Open the Device Manager. To do that quickly, press Windows Key + X to open the Win + X menu. Now choose Device Manager from the list.
  2. Locate your Bluetooth adapter on the list and double-click it to open its settings.
  3. When the Properties window opens, go to the Driver tab and click Roll Back Driver button.

If the Roll Back option isn’t available, you need to reinstall the driver. To do that, just do the following:

  1. Locate the Bluetooth adapter on the list, and right-click it. Choose Uninstall device from the menu.

After the default driver is installed, check if the problem with your Bluetooth speaker is still there.


Solution 10 – Restart the Bluetooth Support service

Bluetooth relies on certain services in order to work properly, and if you’re having problems with Bluetooth and LG Sound Bar, perhaps the necessary services aren’t running. To enable the required services, you need to do the following:

  1. Press Windows Key + R and enter services.msc. Now press Enter or click OK.

  3. Set the Startup type to Automatic. If the service isn’t running, click the Start button to start it. If the service is running, stop it temporarily and restart it. Now click Apply and OK to save changes.

After doing that, check if the problem with Bluetooth service is still there. If you have multiple Bluetooth Support services, be sure to repeat the steps for all these services.


Solution 11 – Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled

If you’re having issues connecting to LG Sound Bar speaker, perhaps the Bluetooth isn’t enabled. This is a beginner’s mistake, but sometimes you might forget to turn on your Bluetooth receiver. To make sure that your Bluetooth adapter is enabled, do the following:

  1. Go to the Settings app and navigate to the Devices section.

  3. After doing that, try to connect again.

In addition, be sure that you’re properly pairing your speaker. Some Bluetooth devices require you to turn them on and then press the Pair button to pair them with your PC. Lastly, be sure that Airplane mode feature is disabled.

If you have Airplane mode enabled, all your wireless communication will be disabled, including Bluetooth, so it’s advised to disable it. To do that on your laptop, you can just use a dedicated keyboard shortcut. Alternatively, you can disable Airplane mode by doing the following:

  1. Open the Settings app and navigate to the Network & Internet section.

After doing that, check if the problem is still there.


Solution 12 – Remove your Bluetooth device and try to pair it again

Bluetooth as technology is prone to glitches, and sometimes you might not be able to pair your speaker due to these glitches. To fix the problem, you’ll have to remove your Bluetooth speaker from your PC and then try to pair it again.

This is quite simple to do, and you can do it by following these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app, navigate to the Devices section and choose Bluetooth & other devices from the left pane.
  2. In the right pane, locate your Bluetooth speaker, select it and choose Remove device.

Solution 13 – Replace your Bluetooth adapter or try a different speaker

If you keep having issues with LG Sound Bar, perhaps the problem is related to your Bluetooth adapter. Not all adapters are compatible with Windows 10 and other speakers, and if you’re having issues connecting to LG Sound Bar, perhaps your adapter is the problem.
