  4. Open the Konsole terminal app.
  5. Press STEAM + X to prompt the Steam Deck’s keyboard. (Also, you can use an external keyboard plugged into the device)
  6. Type in the following command and press Enter: passwd
  7. This will prompt the enter a new password window. (Enter a new password)
  8. Confirm the new password.
