According to a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft will enhance the Move To option in Outlook for Windows and Web and add it to the pop-out menu in the platform.
This update should make managing emails smoother and more consistent. It makes it easier to organize your emails because you can move messages to any folder without having to go back to the main window.
Here’s what the entry says:
The “Move To” option is now available in the pop-out ribbon in New Outlook and Outlook for Web, making it easier to organize emails. Quickly move messages to any folder without switching back to the main window. This update ensures a seamless and consistent email management experience. #newoutlookforwindows
However, as the entry mentioned, this feature is only available to the new version of Outlook, and users will have to wait until June, when the Redmond-based tech giant will roll it out.
Windows users should have access to the new Outlook, as Microsoft made it the default client for this operating system in January.
